Meet Rachel
Medical Director, Founder, DNP, AGACNP-BC
Dr. Rachel Codd is the founder and owner of RENU Aesthetics in Grants Pass, Oregon. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a doctorate degree from Oregon Health and Science University. Rachel developed a passion for aesthetic medicine and recognized the need for a more natural, personalized approach. This fueled her desire to create a medical aesthetic practice that prioritizes skin health, wellness, and enhancing natural beauty. She is a firm believer in patient education and providing realistic expectations.
Rachel’s educational background was centered around health, wellness, and medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education and became a licensed massage therapist, working alongside chiropractors for 20 years. She took great pleasure in helping patients achieve optimal musculoskeletal health by combining nutrition, exercise, and various massage modalities. She has an in-depth understanding of anatomy, which is paramount for aesthetic injectors, as it forms the foundation for safe and effective cosmetic treatments. Rachel later went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked in the cardiovascular and medical ICU for three years prior to getting her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in adult-gerontology acute care.
Rachel is committed to continuous education and training in aesthetic medicine to ensure an evidence-based and results-driven practice. Her services include cosmetic injections, skin health treatments, customized ZO Skin Health regimens, and functional medicine.
